Should I ask HDYHAU to new or returning customers?

We recommend asking two separate HDYHAU questions. One “how did you hear about us?” question that is targeted to new customers and second “what led you to our store today?” question that is targeted towards returning customers. By splitting out these questions into new/returning customers you can tailor the response options to ensure you are capturing all relevant new and returning customer attribution channels.
