How to change account admin or transfer admin access

If you need to change who has admin access to your account or transfer admin privileges to a different user, our support team can help you make this change.

Requesting an admin change

To change the admin for your account:

  1. Contact our support team with your request

  2. Specify which email address should become the new admin

  3. Our team will process the change for you

This is typically needed when:

  • A developer initially set up the account but you need business stakeholders to have admin control

  • Team roles have changed and admin access needs to be transferred

  • You want to ensure the right person has control over user management and account settings

Removing users from Fairing

To remove users from your account:

  1. Contact our support team with your request

  2. Specify which email address you'd like to remove

  3. Our team will process the change

Note: all accounts have to have at least one admin. If you are requesting to remove the sole admin, you will have to provide us information on who you would like to make admin in their place
