How to request a refund after uninstalling the Fairing app

If you've uninstalled the Fairing app and were charged after uninstalling, or if you uninstalled shortly after installing you can reach out to the Fairing team and we will help. All uninstalls during your billing cycle will be prorated, so you will only be paying for the days the app was installed.

Understanding Shopify billing cycles

It's important to understand that Shopify handles all billing for apps installed through their App Store. Shopify charges you on set dates that don't always align with the billing cycles you have with individual apps. This means you might see a charge even after uninstalling an app if the charge was for a billing period that had already started.

Shopify will prorates charges when you uninstall an app mid-billing cycle, meaning you will receive a partial refund for the unused portion of your subscription period.

Uninstalling the app

To uninstall the Fairing app, simply remove it from your Shopify admin panel. This will stop future charges from occurring.
